my 97 trooper is green with tan fender flares and bumpers. blech! i hate it! i would like them to be flat black. has anyone removed this paint before? i was thinking of carefully using some paint stripper to remove it and just leaving the black plastic underneath. im not sure if itll look like crap though or if paint stripper will damage the plastic. should i just sand them down and spray over them with a rattle can? i was thiking of that Herculiner stuff but it sounds like people were saying it doesnt look so hot on bumpers.
any tips/opinions/advice/comments/jokes/slams?
