So it is time to rebuild the front end. I am going to do the usual, balljoints, bearings, bushings, etc. My question is, and I know this is a matter of personal preference, but what brands would you guys reccomend, and are there any that you would steer clear of. Of course I know OE is the best. I have heard good stuff about Moog parts, but are they worth the extra coin. What about the Duralast brand from AutoZone, or what about these guys: link And I know that the listing is for 4runner parts, but don't the pickups and 4runners use the same front suspension components. I do mostly highway driving with the occasional weekend wheeling trip. I may eventually pop some BJ spacers in, but that is down the road a bit. I just want to make a good informed decision and any advice will be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Matt

i work at autozone most of the suspension parts that are "duralast" are made by perfect circle and moog. they just put the duralast name on it so autozone can offer a lifetime warranty. all duralast parts execpt batteries have a lifetime warranty. as far as wheel bearings go id get timken (which Autozone stocks" or oe which i beleve are koyo or something that sounds japaneese like that
what ever you do do not get the valucraft brand...aka valu-crap. they have TRW and some other cheesy stuff. but valucrap offers a 1 yr warranty on all suspension parts and wheel bearings

Thanks for the responses. I think I will try the zone out and see how it goes. I wish I could go back with OE, but the budget won't allow it right now.
What kind of CA bushings should I go back with. I can either use poly or I could go with rubber. I have heard that the poly ones can get a little noisey. Ideas? <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />
Thanks agian, Matt

If you go with poly, lube them up good with some dielectric grease mixed with graphite powder. That shut mine up real good.
