Surfrunner, you should be fine with the recall. They are replacing that part that the tie rod ends attaches to. I've seen the notice that they provide to the mechanics at my local dealer.
SAS folks don't qualify...we don't have that part anymore.... <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/notooth.gif" alt="" />
