Ah ha, finally I got my recall done tonight. Last wk I went there & got send home because of the alignment ramp failure. It took about 3hrs for the change with some chatting with the guy the whole time. Yes, I was beside him watching everything he was doing. He even show me how to do alignment with the computer alignment infra-red scanner. I only have new relay rod & 5 nuts/cotton-pins, nothing like other people with tie-rod ends/ball joints/...etc.

(Apparently, the guy told me the reason of the recall is to do R&D. He told me that my old rod is going to get send back to Japan for study & research...) <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif" alt="" />

I just got the letter of recall in the mail this week. I have an SAS with an aftermarket Pitman arm also. So from the steering gear box on-ward it's aftermarket. so am I ok?
