LOL you guys have got to be kidding me. You don't need 4wd to live in Utah. There really isn't that much snow. Most people here drive 2wd cars to work every morning year round just like every where else. I never even use 4wd on the road during the winter even though I have it.

I've lived here for 12 years and I cannot ever recall driving (other than on the trails) in four wheel drive. It only snows on the floor in the valley 4 to 6 times a year and nearly always it's melted by the end of the day. Now go into the mountains and sure they get 50 to 60 feet annually but that is probably a tenth of 1% of the total roads in this state.

Forget I said anything. I'm an idiot. I guess I have used 4wd virtually everytime I have been to Utah, including in May and lots of time in November... I did drive Vernal to Green River one April with out though.... <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif" alt="" />

Your cracking me up Aaron. I forgot, coming from Rock Springs into Utah on I-80 you're right it snows like a .......... That's all higher elevation then the valley though. I think that maybe it's just a 4x4 pychosis, you spend so much more time on the trails then anyone else that you just automatically put it in 4x4.
