Keep in mind guys, low axle gears and extra low t-case gears, like the 8:1's loose alot of strength, it's okay in a light a$$ sammy buy most sportages have a lil more to them.

As far as ease, I feel it would be easier from a fab standpoint to swap in a two-wheel drive tranny, and use an OTT divorce adapter for a toyota t-case or dual t-case, and a super short shaft between the 2wd tranny and t-case and you've got pretty much a stock drivetrain and don't have to go through the hastle of wiring, fuel, cab mods, just fab up a cross member, some remote shifting linkages and you're there...
