This would work easier in the 4 door = not the 2 door, <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />
Might work in a 4 door?
I seen the double T-Case set up = Insane and perfect = I think it puts ya into the 200:1 krawl range.

ok, right, 5.71's will only get you close to stock rpms. rob, what prolly happened in your case is that you were running those boggers for a while and got used to the gearing "feel" and then swapped axles and now you can feel the lower gearing and you feel like it's lower than you remember the stock gears being, but it isn't as far as rpm's are concerned.
the correct gears for a 35" tire for our Sportages would be around 6.20:1. for a 33- 5.88:1.
dual case has been discussed, and it would not be possible in the 2-door without removing the tank and running a fuel cell in the cargo area or beneath it behind the rear axle.
the best option to swap t-cases is to run the 2wd tail housing on the tranny and a jack-shaft with any t-case you want. all has to be fabbed unless you get a specific kit for a specific t-case, then you still have to fab the Kia end.
brainstorming is always a good thing, but occasionally, it's been thunk 'til it can't be thunk anymore. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/zombie.gif" alt="" />
95 Sportage w/welded and 5.89 geared dana 44's on 38.5" TSL's.- SADLY SOLD CURRENTLY - 2000 sportage, 5.38 gears, welded diffs, 35" tires, 5.5" lift http://www.cardomain.com/ride/341410

I didn't think about the running the 31's 4 ever = the Rig feels more krawly now than it did before.
Thunking too much makes me dizzy <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/zombie.gif" alt="" />

I seen the double T-Case set up = Insane and perfect = I think it puts ya into the 200:1 krawl range. The guy that gonna be doing the bedlining on my Sportage has a Mog with over 400:1 crawl ratio (!). Now THAT's insane.

400:1 now that is awesome!
I have the axle brackets ordered from Blue Torch for the redesign of the rear shackle mounts. Should be here by Wed.
My optima crapped the bed internally, so the new one awaits install.
The destroyed rear himes are in hand & waiting for the new bracketry.
So the plans for shakedown #2 are still a go on the 1st of Oct @ Moonrocks.
Also finaaly found a battery isolator @ the motorhome store that needs to be installed & wired.
Will post more pics as I go.

Gotta columnist gunna do a shoot for 4wheel & Sport Utility Mag. Not real sure of the name of it?
Gotta trim the Fuel tank protector = the D-Line is hittin it.
Had to hammer the lower rear inner structure so it wouldent hit the tires.
