[Linked Image]

Gotta raise/adjust the rear ride height up.

Gotta build rear bump stops.

Gott get some softer springs for the front = currently running 225 & 175 lb springs. I will get 125 ones to replace the 225's

Nice bro we are heading out next weekend afternoon night ride. 125's will definatly soften the load on the shocks. Spidertrax has all kinds of bump stops. How low are you sitting in the rear as compared to the front. I personally like to be an inch lower in the rear.

It is the way you prefer, but that aint workin = the rear pinion has so much travel under compression that it hits the fuel tank, especially when the lt rear is under full compression = not good! Bump stops will force the front to work more & the opposite of the rear to droop more, this should force reduce the amount of pinion angle change. I will not change out the front spring for softer ones till I get the above dove & shakedown again.

Please tell me i'm seein wrong...You don't have Warn Hubs on a toyota axle do you???

If so you're in for trouble, nothing but sheered bolts and ejected hubs, find a set of stockers ASAP, strongest hub on the market for a toy.

I did the Hendrix Motorsports 6 dowelpin mod, and had bobby long heattreat the lockout guts. I also run ARP knuckle studs and hub studs as well as bobby's 30spline stuff...but i also run 39.5's

That is some great info, I will wait till what I have breaks to change/modify em.

Is there a need for gear oil to be put into the knuckles? I installed Sky's Birfield elliminators.

I did fill em up but don't really see the reason for it?

You don't put oil in the knuckles <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/zombie.gif" alt="" /> , you put a small amount of grease for the upper and lower trunion bearings but no oil...

As for the BFEKit, its alright, but i've heard alot more bad than good and its only stock d44 strenght, bobby's new stuff puts you up there with stock d60 35spline stuff...

Example, the inner axles are nearly the same OD as the oil seal on the axle, they are friggin beeeeffy....I'll getcha some good wheelin pics this weekend smile

That is a second on the no oil inside the knuckles. It will eat up the felt seals. Once you have the birf elim kit it will just be like any other u-joint axle. Toy axle+elim kit+oil=a future mess to clean up on the trail or on the garage floor. On that note make sure the kingpins are still nice and greased up.
