Hey CJM, Are you planning on adapting the Supra rear-end to the truck?? LSD (posi), disk brakes, and 4.30 gears <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" /> I know that independant rear suspension would be a challenge, but the outcome would be way cool. One more question, what Tranny are you going to use? This little truck is gonna be a sweet ride. EDIT: - I read on the other link that you ARE doing rear IS <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" />

yep ... you read correctly .... rear IRS IS going in .
I'm going to "bag" it so I have some adjustment , when i want it .
I'm using the stock supra 5 speed .
Now that I have finished up the new bed , as soon as the car shell goes , I can get going on the frame and suspension ... I'm really looking forward to this part of the project .

I dont remembrtr what magazine... Maybe this months Motor Trend. Its current, I was reading it at the pharmacy last nigt. There was a guy who used a mini truck body, and a stroked LC engineering 2.7 turbo motor. It used all supra suspension. Including the IRS. It got last in the shoot out. but was still a cool truck

I saw it on the Teh-Veh about 2 weeks ago. Cool truck alot like your project I think. No custom bodynpanels though.
