if it is the same truck i am thinking about, i saw it on car and driver tv (i think) the guy drove it from like maine to michigan with a truck camper on the back, ran the comp, messed up a piston and then drove it home. i wanted to see more of that myself.

Yep, that was it. It was an 97 taco 2WD with a turbo motor and supra suspension. It was a sweet little ride.

Yea I saw that as well. I think he ownes some compony called Chuck taylor? Maybe I'm wrong about that.

so reviving an old thread ... finally the frame build has begun . yes sir .. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> and thanks . just doing some reading back .. and realize I didnt put the engine pics in . from this to this ~ 350-400 HP  (wont know till I dyno) tranny is at the media blaster , and will be back this week .

thank you .. lots of work . not stock , COMPLETLY rebuilt with "go fast goodies" .. and will include walbro fuel pump , lexas AFM , and custom 3" exhaust . you could see the whole story here http://www.members.shaw.ca/slacker502/lowrider.htm so far .
