Thanks guys .. Will you be running coilovers instead of struts? (i ask because teh struts look like they'll go up past the bed-line) no I'm not going to use those ones ... I just wanted to see , I am going to get some coilovers . just curious but what do you think your estimated weight will be?
Im gonna guess at 2700?
i'm guestimating from a 4x4 wieght tho...meh with that kinda torque and HP i guess it really doesn't matter, only traction and spares. yes .. traction is going to be the issue .. I'm hopping on the weight in around the 2500 area .. interior has been gutted , and wont be putting heater back in .. Interior is going all custom fiberglass .. and I'm even contemplating a fiberglass , hardtop convertable .. and exterior skin is all glass as well .

Are you going to road register that truck after all that work? How do you think you'll go getting a custom frame like that licensed? Over here where i live you'd have a snowball's chance in hell getting that past the pits unless you had a team of engineers look over it.
Looks sick though. Make an awesome beach buggy... lol

Huh? Stock frame, you mean youve never seen this truck before? It's pretty rare . Nah you can register it as a hot rod.

ok .. so heres my plans . dont do the photoshop thing so bare with me . it's a 2 lever system . ![[Linked Image]](http://i76.photobucket.com/albums/j2/bj_bumperboy/hot%20rod/HPIM0366.jpg) basically , I want to "lay down" the rear struts . like this .. ![[Linked Image]](http://i76.photobucket.com/albums/j2/bj_bumperboy/hot%20rod/HPIM0365.jpg) so right now i'm in the midst of making 8 bracket mounts ... ![[Linked Image]](http://i76.photobucket.com/albums/j2/bj_bumperboy/hot%20rod/HPIM0369.jpg) so I can get everything "tacked" into place .. so I can measure for the leavers . I now have the links made , that fit the original lower strut mounts . ![[Linked Image]](http://i76.photobucket.com/albums/j2/bj_bumperboy/hot%20rod/HPIM0367.jpg) and they fit like so ...... ![[Linked Image]](http://i76.photobucket.com/albums/j2/bj_bumperboy/hot%20rod/HPIM0368.jpg) also have the side supports ![[Linked Image]](http://i76.photobucket.com/albums/j2/bj_bumperboy/hot%20rod/HPIM0370.jpg) and FINALLY got the bushings figured .. ![[Linked Image]](http://i76.photobucket.com/albums/j2/bj_bumperboy/hot%20rod/HPIM0371.jpg)
