OK, so last week I ordered the TransPro 432041 3 Row radiator from Autozone for $135. It came in earlier this week and today I decided to install it.

First Problem: Radiator is too tall, it hits the frame crossmember which keeps the holes from lining up. I was afraid of this, which is one reason I wanted to buy a radiator locally so I could return it if needed. Turns out though, that it just barely hits the crossmember. I got out the angle grinder and removed about 1/8" to 3/16" of material from the edge of the crossmember. Then it easily slid into place and I bolted it down. Now, it also sticks up above the grill more than my OEM radiator, and I was afraid the hood wouldn't shut, but it shuts fine.

Second problem: Since this radiator is about 1" thicker than the old radiator, I couldn't slide the fan shroud between the fan blade and radiator. But, again I removed enough metal from the lower edge of the shroud until it would slip in between there.

Third problem: Not really a problem, just an FYI. My hoses were now just a little too long for the fatter radiator and they kindof looked kinked when they were attached. So I just trimmed a little off the end of both hoses, and now they look good.

I was a little disappointed to see this radiator made in China. But overall, I'm happy to find a 3 core that fits.
