Getting the Wheeling Fever
Just though I'd post up a few pictures of my truck from this last weekend. Went out to Chivo Falls just outside Tucson with my club (AZ Wildcats Offroad). Trail was great. We had 23 vehicles out there which went surprisingly smooth. Didn't get many pics of my truck but got a few good "flex" shots.

I almost got my first taste of trail carnage when my front driver's side tire slipped off the rock. Came within a half inch of mangling my driver's door.

Our club is quite a conglomeration of vehicles.

Well...there is Raytheon. We have IBM out here too but I think its just a processing plant. Gotta love the low levels of moisture in the air in the desert. Up in Phoenix there is Intel and a whole bunch of other places (Tucson's not that great for a job) but I'm sure the Phoenix guys could chime in on that one.

Nice to know the trail is still open, esp after seeing the San Pedro fenced off from the Willcox road and south.

That was the maiden voyage for Ol' Blue when I first got her from Desert Toyota. Hooked up with some guys that had to trim every little mesquite on the way in, and theirs were already beaters.

I remember seeing an old Datsun stuck sideways in The Crack...

Phoenix is good place for IT! (I am an IT ADMIN!) Check out www.jobing.com and put in a zip code of 85257 (scottsdale zip, which is 15 minutes outside Phoenix!)

Let me know if we can be of assistance!

We usually post up our runs on www.azwildcatoffroad.org. Its in the forum section under trip talk. I'm going to be heading out to Chivo or the gap next weekend.

kewl- lol....some people do some stupid stuff going up the crack. Don't know why more people (especially full size trucks) understand the concept of straddling...
