Body Damage is Cool
Well guys, what else can I say, I have found my next ride. Its not an Isuzu, but I'm not going far. My father found me a Red 1990 Mitsubishi montero 2dr V6. Its in great condition, and should make a great base for a build up.
I just want to thank everyone for all of their amazing help and friendliness, even with some of my mundane pointless posts
I wish you all the best of luck, I hope to poke my head in here every now and then to jab at some of the long time members.
Heres my final goal except red
Drool

So yes, as of now the Amigo is for sale, as well as the BRAND NEW LIFT KIT that I never got a chance to install .

Thanks again to everyone, I've never felt so welcomed by basically complete strangers in my life

With your recent posts about rust problems/etc, you were definitely at a point where you had to either dump time/money into repairs or just cut your losses and get another vehicle. Hate to see you giving up on your Amigo, but I understand why you came to that decision. Have fun with the new truck once you get it

Thanks Sean, for the kind words and for answering all my questions in the past.

It is really hard to let her go after such a short time, but we came to a concensus that the rust was not worth the money and time it would have taken to repair it to my standards. We did do some repair jobs today, but without a welder we had to rivet new sheetmetal over the holes (another one at the back drivers side corner, then spray on undercoating on it to preserve it. Did finally install my backseat too, what a PITA that was, but its in and done.
Once I find a set of rims to put my old tires back on it, its in the paper, we're going to low-ball the price for a quick sale as we dont have room for another truck.

I'm off to the not-so-dark side....more of a shadow.

Thanks again to everyone.

Just think of it as a new body style for a 2 dr trooper

Well. Shes gone I drove it to the new owners house and he gave me a ride home in his mint 89 5.0 Mustang convertable. It was harder than I thought it would be, but he really likes it and has all the same plans for it that I had.....wish I hadn't sold the lift.

Thanks again to everyone for all your help over the past year and a half, I appreciate it.
