Getting the Wheeling Fever
last night I had my 4Runner stolen from my garage in Puyallup WA. it's a gray 87, with LA plates, JVL 294. it has a LA inspection sticker above a FT. Lewis DOD decal on the lower left corner of the windshield. here's a pic. had 3/4 a tank of gas, so they didn't really need to put any in. I assume it's kids Joy riding, but not sure. here's a pic, if anyone local sees it:

This post has made my decision...

No never, ever, ever, ever get stationed at Ft Lewis! I was thinking of going there after Germany, but if your 4Runner can get stolen OUT OF YOUR FREEKING GARAGE, I'll pass...

BTT for ya.

(see what I mean?)

Man that sucks. i will invest in 2 kill switches today and install them. That is a such a sweet truck, that would piss me off like no other.
Sorry to see such a tragedy. How in the hell did they get it out of your garage?

I'll keep an eye out in the North end. That sucks man, I've had a truck stolen up here and it turned up in Olympia several weeks later. I park in front of my wifes car in the driveway now. Her's is an 05 and fully insured. I just got basic.

Eyes are peeled on the peninsula....but more than likely will be found at near Graham. Thats where the tweakers take them for various activities. Of the rigs stolen in the area that havent been recovered right away...2 of them were found in some wooded lot considerably lighter than before being stolen.

How did they get it out of your garage?? Ballsy thiefs man...not only is it auto theft, but wouldnt that also be a candidate for breaking and entering? That takes it from a slap on the wrist up to a full stint in the humper house in Shelton!

Hope you find it, and in the condition it was in when taken or close to.

ya'll have some problems up in the NE. that's the 2nd '87 runner to be jacked in the past few weeks on this board. I don't wanna get any larger tires b/c I can actually park my truck in the garage right now. My bed is on the garage wall so I'll blow them straight into hell if they pull something like that. Especially when I get my toy... 12Ga Pump action Remington 870 w/26" barrel Sorry to hear bout the truck.

I screwed up. left the garage door open, keys were near/in it cause I just got done with an oil change, went inside to see what momma wanted, blah blah blah, forgot I left it open/available. I'm in a good neighborhood, and didn't think it would have been a problem. I think it was neighborhood kids, cause tweekers would have taken alot more that was within arms reach of the truck. hopefully it's in a parking lot somewhere, and not given to tweekers to play with...

so I'm a dumbass...
