Need a Spot
ok, i already have 5 brand new 285/75/16 tires. i am looking to order a set of black steel rock crawlers. after some searching in this site i found that the cheapest place to get them is at Summit Racing. Unfortunately, in 16x8, Summit only has them with an offset of 5" and Ive read that 4.25" is the best. will a 5" offset work? or will there be rubbing? will it still look really good and have a decent, wide stance?

if this wont work then ill have to get them at 4wheel parts for almost $200 more

Getting the Wheeling Fever
I am doing the exact same thing--I hope.. I have the 285/75/16's now --BFG All Terrain's--which are about 33x11.50 x 16.
I ordered the rims 16 x 8 with 5" offset 6 x 5.5 bolt pattern.I hope the 5" offset is okay because like you the price was realy good.I'll know in a few days.....
