Yep, looks good, but a little funny with the (relatively) low profile tires.

Yeah I know.....Thats why I'm going to try on my 35's

You better be prepered to do a lot of cutting and pounding! I test fit a pair of 33s and without major front wheelwell surgery they will not fit (I have the same lift).
The only way you will get 53s to fit is with a 3 inch body lift on top of the suspoension lift. But then the axle shaft will not be to happy for too long! SAS is the answer!

Accually thats where axle drop brackets come in, apparently they're all the rage now

There is 1 or 2 out there!

Drop brackets will save your CVs but if your going to use it off road the shafts are a bit puny for 35s. 33s are about as big as the 10 bolt will be happy with. Of course if its a mall crawler it don't matter!

I shattered the front spider gears in my 10-bolt with 33"s
Make sure to get tie rod shields if your going to have 33" or larger. I have had to leave my trooper in the woods at least 3 times overnight because I broke a tie rod. I learned my lesson finally and made tie rod shields.

WOW that vx is sweeeeeeettt!!!! I'd love to see some more pics. For the time being its only going to be a mall crawler Its my moms DD. I'm tring to talk here into wheeling it but I don't know how thats going to go. The main reason I lifted it was better handling. It used to bottom out alot. And I was able to get the springs free . and I'm just going to try on my 35's for a poser shot . But the good thing is that really really likes the way it looks. I might build a few things for later on, winch mount, roof rack ect. Pretty much the only wheeling we've done with it so far is in snow...3 feet of it But my troop was a wee bit better
heres a old pic.....you can see how different my troop was

Are they really? Thats surprising, esp with the nice 3.5 and supercharger (aftermarket) available. Im really looking into a VX for my next rig (especially after seeing this one), but i would like a 5sp...

I don't think it would be all that hard to swap in a 5 speed, if you really wanted.....Man I'm loven the look of this thing now!!! This is the way it should have came, it makes it look more like a truck than a car.
