I would suggest a small lift consisting of BJ spacers in the front and crank the torsion bars slightly, maybe even upgrade to Sway away 25mm tbars. For the rear get some stiffer springs, Downey or Old Man Emu combined with a 1" Roger Brown body lift.
Then put a rear locker, Aussies work great for the cost ($199) and they are reliable. You will be able to fit 33s with this combination and it will be very capable. Be sure to get longer rear shocks as well if you put longer/stiffer coils in. Old Man Emu or Bilstein shocks seem to be the best combo for IFS toyotas.
