I have been reading this forum for a few months but haven't posted much, I searched and didn't find this answer so if it is a repeat, sorry. I am looking at a 91 p/u with a 3.0. I already know that it needs a head job, has at least one burnt valve. I am not really familiar with the 3.0, I've owned 22re's and 3.4's, but never a 3.0. I haven't actually seen the truck, but the guy says it has oil in the intake tube. What would be the cause of this? Does it have a vent tube or something simple, or does this indicate something worse like bad rings? Engnbldr, if I buy this truck and it just needs the head job I am going to need a gasket and bolt kit. Is it easiest if I just use ebay, or call?
