Well... maybe eventually. I do think there is something to the early 3.0s being more stable than the later ones though. I'm a 3.0 basher, having owned two, but I'd buy it all things being equal - and the price being right.

I used to be a little scared of a salvage title, and they are harder to insure sometimes, but after seeing some of my friend Oleg Kazansev's work, I would buy one from him. So it depends on who does the rebuild, really. I think folks are scared of what they don't understand. The more you know about how these salvage decisions are made and how the rebuild is done (and by whom), the more comfortable you might be with a particular unit.

That doesn't mean the person to whom you resell the unit would be, though.

Simple deal, Brian- get it checked on a frame machine and have a mechanical once-over.
