well i put my bro's "Don bumper" on my gen2 and it fits outstanding!! anyway as i was under i realized i am possibly missing skid plates.? i have the front main and the transfer skid and the gas tank one. i know on my gen1 that i has a second front diff. skid and was wondering if the gen2 had one and also shoule i have one for my tranny pan it looks vulnerable.
does any one have a place to host pics i can post the modified stinger don bumper on the gen2?

There are two front skids on the Gen II as well. One that starts below the bumper and goes to the front tube crossmember. And one that goes from there to the axle mount cross member.

Sounds like you're missing the second one then. How bad do you want one? <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

A Don's Bumper will fit a GenII???

When I PM'ed him about them, he said thaqt he had none for the GenII.

Did you have to modify it?

I have an extra. It has one meaningless extra hole about 1-1/2" from where I tested my carbide hole saw. (Then used it to drill vents in my SWB's front plate.) It's yours for shipping. I've been doing major cleaning and ransacking on my garage, but I'm pretty sure it is still there.

Body Damage is Cool
There is NOT a factory skidplate for the tranny. However, talk to Scottie who was going to make one for his '97 after he put a dent in the tranny pan...

None
