Ive been lookin into getting a lift kit for my 94 pickup, but I cant decide on which lift kit to go with. I also want to keep the IFS. I have had my eye on probably the two major manufactures procomp and superlift. Wanted to get some more professional imput or even first hand experiences. Are their any other lifts i should be lookin at? Thanks.

This topic has been discussed often here, run a search for IFS lifts.
I myself have been running the Trailmaster 4" since '94, and with the exception of having to replace the idler arm(common on all lifted IFS, or hard wheeled IFS rigs), the lift has performed flawlessly. Some people here have had poor experiences with the Procomp lifts.

It would help to know a little more info such as what you plan to do with your truck and what size tires you plan to run. I run a ProComp stage II with 1.5ö ball joint spacers up front and 5ö Superlift rear springs with 33Æs right now and plan to go 35Æs next month along with regearing.
If you only plan on going up to 33Æs, I would suggest that you look into Roger BrownÆs 1.5ö ball joint spacers for the front (and gain that much in wheel travel) and shackle lift the rear 2ö. If you want more lift, there are always used IFS lifts for sale from people who SAS their trucks û including me next year. As for the idler arm, either run a brace or get the Total Chaos idler arm as I did.

Moog also makes a larger stronger idler arm, that has a lifetime warranty. If you bend it, just return it for a new one, no Q's asked. Just keep your stock one as a trail spare.

My moog stuff is from Napa. I have been running their stuff since '99 and have had to replace the idler arm just once. The idler arm is larger than the oem/oem replacement. I bent it enough that it wore out a spot on the frame. I upgraded to the moog after bending the stock style one with the brace.
