Yep, I have two gear driven T-cases, but I miss the smoothness of the chain driven cases and shift on the fly, etc., so the other day I read on one of these boards that the chain driven T-case found behind most older 3.0 Liter trucks are the weakest, the gear driven ones are in the middle, and the V1FA found behind the newer 3.4 Liters are the strongest because of the thickness of the chain.

So, based on what you say these T-cases will be found in the '96-'98 T100's with the 3.4L? Is that right?
