Myself in my 4Runner, Josh in his FJ80, and go_big_blue (Steve) in his 91 pickup went to Livingston KY today. We had a good time. I havent been to Livingston in a few years, and the trails have changed since I was there last. A lot of places have been washed away and eroded, making a few spots impassible by a stock-ish truck. Too bad, there are a lot of fun trails back there. Anyways, on to the pics and the vid. No carnage or anything, but I did find some bugs in my front end. Something is loose and kind of banging around and making noises, as you will see in the vids (anyone know whats wrong?) and I need to move the axle forward and pull a few leafs, as my front end like to get light weight and bounce, usually to the side, throwing off my line. Not good.

Here are a few pics. There are a few more on my site

And three videos. I had to split them up to upload them properly. Right click on the picture of the video tape and save it to your computer.

No, and yes.

We didn't see anyone for the first hour or 2 we were there (except for a Camaro parked at the beginning, nobody in it) then we came upon some hikers near the sandstone trail in the videos. When we were leaving, we saw one Jeep and about 4 rednecks on quads. Other than that, it was a ghost town. That place is really washed out. The ledge right before the school bus was damn near impassable by a stock-ish truck. It has eroded down the side of the hill leaving only a huge rock ledge to go down.

I have no idea, I was hoping someone might know. I don't understand how the wheel can move the way it did.

Need a Spot
Thanks for posting the videos, I had a great time. After watching the video like ten times I think the wtf noise might be the steering stabilizer you had diconnected banging against the axle. It looks like both wheels turn to the right a little as you drop over the ledge and then turn back when you hit bottom. Hope it's that simple.

ahhh yes, I think your right. I just went out and looked, and I can see marks on the oil pan where it was hitting.
