Good afternoon. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/cheers.gif" alt="" /> Just wanted to drop a few lines and say hello to everyone. My name is JC. From Ky but living in NE TN now. I drive a 91 Trooper and am in the process of having the old 2.8 swapped out for a 3.4. I've been searching for related info and found a lot, spread all over different forums, on different sites. So far there seems to be more on this site. Does anyone have a compilation of info for this swap? I e-mailed one guy about it, but yet to get a response. So far I found a mechanic to swap them out, found about 5 engines (need to choose), have a small list of parts needed, and some notes of things to consider. I would love to hand the mechanic info for this to help him out in any way that I can. Or am I stepping over the line by doing that? Any advice from the troopguru's is appreciated. Thanks and it's good to see so many other fans of troopers out there.
