Getting the Wheeling Fever
I'm swapping my 3.0 heads for some rebuilt ones I picked up and I need to remove/reinstall the intake/exhaust manifold studs. One or two exhaust are already missing, and I figure I could lose one or two more before I'm done pulling them. Is it easy to find cheap replacements somewhere other than the dealer? A buddy said I should look for some at the hardware store -- but that doesn't seem right. I checked with one of the aftermarket chains and they weren't listing any other fasteners other than the head bolts. Thanks for any information!

MD108395 - you need 8 at $0.75/each

MD108396 - you need 12 at $0.75/each

That's only $15.00 plus $8.95 shipping - hardly worth driving around looking for the right size and strength:

Thanks!

They're ordered and on the way -- I never thought the dealer even stocked anything for under $5 smile

A great site that I'll use more often.
