Kevin,

Yeah I have the Haynes manual, most of the time it is accurate but there are times that I would like it to be more specific...

OK all, I have another problem....

Today was the day I was going to follow Frank's recommendation of letting it fast idle get up to temp and shut it down and drain the oil. Well I started to do this, and as it was running for a couple minutes I saw coolant leaking under the truck, behind the motor

Shut it down to check it out... Lucky it was just a loose hose clamp at the heater core , fixed it, topped off the rad, and started to try to get it up to temp again.

After about 3-4 minutes at 2000 RPM's the temp gage was about there, then it sputtered a little and shut down. It was running smooth, I just made a comment about look how smooth it is running , then just sputtered and shut down and would not restart.... WTF!!!! I am searching other threads now, because I know I read about a problem like this not too long ago...
