FYI, I just tried an experiment with my truck - pulled the #1 plug wire to see if the coil would arc - it does. I thought it might just crossfire inside the distributor, but it likes the coil bracket more if the plug wire is pulled back far enough. Check your wire connections - my next suspect might be the wires themselves.

Frank thanks!!! I guess new wires are going on this weekend, or whenever I can get them, should I get a pair from pep boys or a local place like that or pay for the mitsu wires? Have you called Magnecor yet? If so what did they say?

I am going to be doing the fuel filter again and this time putting a new one on, and the wires and I hope that woks for me...
