FYI, I just tried an experiment with my truck - pulled the #1 plug wire to see if the coil would arc - it does. I thought it might just crossfire inside the distributor, but it likes the coil bracket more if the plug wire is pulled back far enough. Check your wire connections - my next suspect might be the wires themselves.

OK here is the update, for some reason I never even realized that the #6 plug wire wasn't even on the plug, it was in the whole but not on the plug, whoops!!! OK, coil arch solved....

Now I think the starting/stalling and not restarting problem is in the ISC motor (IAC)...

The reason I feel this is the problem is because it is getting fuel, getting spark at all plugs, yes checked for spark at all of them. And all plugs were wet from fuel when pulled...

So that leaves "AIR" as the culprit, I pulled the ISC motor out and it needed a good cleaning (the TB stayed attached to the upper intake when I did the rebuild). I cleaned it up, and with someone at the key I was playing with throttle position and, surprise, it started...

And it seemed like ran forever, over an hour, but then I gave it a good deal of gas trying to break it in, and the problems returned. I was going about 10 MPH, and gave it about 60% or a little more throttle, it downshifted to 1st gear felt like it started to pull pretty good for about 2 seconds then stumbled, the stumble stayed for about another second and I got scared and got off the gas. I then coasted down to the stop sign ahead, while coasting the idle was really low, about 4-500 RPM's, as soon as the truck was about to stop or just about when it stopped the truck stalled and wouldn't restart...

I checked it again and there was fuel, and spark. But, I ran the battery down testing everything and didn't have a chance to play with moving the trottle blade when a helper turned the key...

But I think the ISC is just bad. I remeber before the rebuild I was going to look at it because it would start and rev to 2K when not in gear, but never remebered that until now...

What do you guys think?
