R/E is just a reseller of both the SYEs and the driveshafts. I think they sell these so they can sell complete kits for one-stop-shopping. I don't think they are trying to compete on price, but they just want to have

I wouldn't buy a driveshaft from R/E, instead I would fine a reputable driveshaft shop since you will likely be a return customer. Driveshafts need to be maintained, rebuilt, straightened from time to time and I've found shops like to work on their own stuff.
