Out of interest, genuine or aftermarket oil filter?

I have heard from other ppl and forums that some aftermarket filters do not have a one way valve in them, allowing the oil to drain back into the sump when left standing. This means ther is a couple of seconds until the oil pump actually has any oil to pump (at full pressure), leaving the top end of your engine a bit noisy and underlubricated. This could well be exaggerated in an old engine and may be indicative of an oil pump that needs servicing.
