Mine doesn't have jam nuts. No suprise, someone probably took them off to use as a spacer for one of the two bellhousing bolts that were on the truck when I bought it. Neither bolt was correct. One was about 6" long with about 5 nuts stacked on it to take up the extra space and the other one was entirely the wrong size and thread pitch, crossthreaded and only held in by one thread (that the engine threads cut into the bolt when it was forced in).

But I digress...
