I have been reading about ball joint flips on "Expedition West" and it stated that doing the flip will help with additional travel after a Torsion Bar lift and it will also help with alignment. The concern seems to be that this will encourage Rack damage. My question is could I just beef up the droop snubbers and then do the ball joint flip on the UCA so that I can get better alignment?

Thanks!

You don't get any more travel, ok maybe an insignificant amount. I would try to get it aligned first and see if they can get camber specs to normal versus try this just incase because some people have damaged thier rack+p steering from this. If it is still way off then explore options.
