Up front, I replaced the stock rear seat backs with plywood panels that screw to the factory hinges and have a reinforcing piece on the top that acts like a lip to keep things from sliding forward:

Lets me use the space where the seat back cushions used to be as storage for belts, hoses and parts like that.
