Need a Spot
Yesterday, I noticed a fuel line leaking which is located directly on top of the fuel tank where it comes out from the fuel pump inside the tank. That evening, I had sanded, used wire brush, and eventually added an epoxy which is indeed not going to do the trick of fixing it.
My question is, " In my neck of the woods we call this a (float assembly/ fuel pump assembly) but I have did numerous searches on the web for the part and cannot seem to find it". Now, I'm No where new to Toy's( this is my 10th truck)but, however I have never experienced a fuel line leak. Is this sold as one complete part as the fuel pump itself, or is there an assembly that can be purchased which includes these fuel lines? Next, is this something your local auto store stocks on a regular basis?? Tell me the ball-park $$price also if anyone has the nerve to drop this Ol' West Virginia country boy in his tracks!! HAHA
Thanks!!!!!!

Most people aren't awake yet, or more likely haven't had their caffene yet, as they live on the west coast

I don't know the answer to the "is it all one piece" question, but a place like Napa would be able to get you the correct size hard line for you to bend yourself. They should be able to tell you what fitting it has (if it has one) as well.

Figured it out by myself--What a HELPFUL BUNCH WE HAVE HERE!!I Hope to be as much help to all of you. It is now fixed, and they do not sell these at NAPA( Dealer item only)!!
I will clue you in on the part, it is NOT one whole piece connected to the fuel pump, the assembly w/ lines can be bought seperate $ 175.00 US dollars ( If you know the crack-head parts manager it is $100.00 on the side of building at lunch-time). Saved $75.00 like it or not!!
Now, I know all of you will be crying over my reply as to what help you all were, but :baby!!!!!!!!!!!!
See Ya in the Mud, we will settle it there.

That's quite an attitude you have there. When I post, I don't expect an answer in 3 hours. Give people some time. I don't check this board every hour on the hour. If we meet on trail what are we going to settle? Sounds like you have a chip on your shoulder to start with. This forum has no room this kind of stuff. I've got more info here than I ever got out of my repair manuals. Play nice or leave if you ask me....

You're upset because you didn't get a response after only 4 hours...in the early morning...on a workday?

Next time you might try the www.Pirate4x4.com board. If you posted those two messages there, you'd get a response quicker than you could shake a stick at. Of course, it probably would filled with a lot words you can't say here.

You will see I deleted your last post. We don't put up with that kind of nonsense on this website. This is a family-oriented board, and we have lots of young readers AND wheelers who visit here.

There's actually quite a lot of talent on this board, *should* you take the time to peruse not just this, but all Toyota sections.

It's still summer time down on your end of the planet; get out and enjoy it instead of flaming folks you aren't even casually acquainted with yet.

You will find this is largely a west coast bunch, IF you take the time.....
