Yesterday, I noticed a fuel line leaking which is located directly on top of the fuel tank where it comes out from the fuel pump inside the tank. That evening, I had sanded, used wire brush, and eventually added an epoxy which is indeed not going to do the trick of fixing it.
My question is, " In my neck of the woods we call this a (float assembly/ fuel pump assembly) but I have did numerous searches on the web for the part and cannot seem to find it". Now, I'm No where new to Toy's( this is my 10th truck)but, however I have never experienced a fuel line leak. Is this sold as one complete part as the fuel pump itself, or is there an assembly that can be purchased which includes these fuel lines? Next, is this something your local auto store stocks on a regular basis?? Tell me the ball-park $$price also if anyone has the nerve to drop this Ol' West Virginia country boy in his tracks!! <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/lol.gif" alt="" /> HAHA
Thanks!!!!!!
