Getting the Wheeling Fever
does anyone know what the trouble code 56 is for on an 86 4runner? I've been searching the net but none of the lists I find have a 56 on them. I'm positive that is the code that I'm getting.
Thanks, Kivan

That's a 5 and a 6 code. The codes on the early EFI's only went up to 13.

5 is bad oxygen sensor signal ( bad sensor or wiring)

6 is no RPM signal (usually a distributor or igniter problem)
