I have a 04 Double cab 4x4 with the 3.4. the truck is a little small for me, I am 6'3" and 220 lbs. the 4x4 shifter hits me in the right calf. plenty of room for two adults in the back seat, a wee bit hard to get in and out of the back seat if you have large feet. a few other quirks that I will live with because of the outstanding and legendary toyota reliablity and resale value (not that I would sell it). from what I hear Double cabs especially 4x4's are hard to find used and pricey when you do find them.
oh yeah........the bed is small, that is why I use this 1946 Bantam 1/4 ton trailer:
