... but the only rubbage is if you crank it one way or the other all the way, which you wont be doing in 4wd...

Well that depends on where you're driving. I frequently crank the steering wheel all the way over in 4WD. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" />

I'm starting to understand how you guys break so many parts now. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/lol.gif" alt="" />

Do I need to flip the ball joint if I were to crank up the torsion bar? I had to do that to my trooper...

When rockcrawling, there are many situations where you just don't have a choice but to crank hard right/left

Pfftttthhttt...there's ALWAYS a choice, always more than one line. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> Wasn't meant as a dig though. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/ignore.gif" alt="" />

Wheel center hole must be at least 4 1/8".

2.6 upper starter bolt is hard to get to for the clutch....

I'd have to agree with Ray on that one. I've done a fair amount of hard-core wheeling with my rig (both stock and heavily modded) and sometimes the best line is the one that makes you crank to one extreme or the other. I find that I do a lot less now with the mods, but every once in a while that's what's necessary for safer negotiation.

And is it difficult to replace clutch?

Not really. Having never replaced a clutch before, the clutch on my Montero was the first one I ever did myself (right after I brought it home for the first time). I found that it was fairly easy. I'd suggest you get a kit which has the alignment tool...will make it a bit easier.
