Well I need front springs trying to decide what to get.

I had a couple choices

Marlin 4-5" front springs
5" Skyjacker soft rides
3.5" roughcountry springs
3.0" downey springs

I was going to do the rears on front but I lost a spring pack on a trail long story. Anyways so now I just have to start over and buy a pack I guess.

I am tired of the 4" procomp springs listing all over the place when driving on the interstate my current front springs are way too soft.

Need some opinions of these springs
Which of these would give the best ride and do a decent job offroad?

Well, I have the 3" Downey, and I'd say the ride is pretty good and the flex is decent. My dad has rough country on his Jeep and he says they seem poorly made, but they were cheap so what can he expect. Don't know about the Marlin and skyjackers.

im on allpro 4" up front and they are worken really good. They are just starten to break in enough to flex me out. Same ones as marlin has i think. takes a good 10 hard wheeling trips to get em to start to break in but they are fine for highway and great for offroad.

The jeep wagnoneer springs work well up front. They give you a nice ride, a lot of flex, and you can run 35's with no rubbing problems.

Of the ones you have listed I would go with 4" Marlin springs. I believe these to be better constructed than the others listed and will move your axle slightly forward, helping with firewall clearance. I am not sure why you have lifts from 3" to 5" listed though??? <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />

i am running the rough country's-i get quite a bit of list on the highways, but i do like the lower lift, to keep the size down.

i was looking at alcans for the spring-from what ive heard they sound great.
