need a little help diagnosing whats going on, transmissions are beyond me. (and i still suck at the search <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/scared.gif" alt="" />)
Symptoms: -Moderate slip in third and fourth gear under regular driving. -Heavy slip in third and fourth gear while under load, acceleration, passing, climbing. -Seems to be little to no change in the workings in first and second gear, no noticable slip. -Seems to get worse the longer I drive.
Factors: -It never overheated -Filter change and fluid flush less than 10k miles ago. (did another flush Monday and it made no difference) -Fluid is reading at the right levels Hot and Cold. -I still have a small leak at the "Selector".
I'm thinking the torque converter is the problem but in all honesty its just a guess. Is it possibly the computer or selector? I know the 2nd gen rodeos have a problem with the selector. Most of the info I found was on the 2nd gen rodeos.
TIA
Scott F.
