Body Damage is Cool
This one was on my 1988 Raider when I bought it back in June. I cannot find a manufacturers name on it anywhere. A local 4x4 fabricator (metro Atlanta, GA) said he could duplicate it for around $400.00. Not long ago, someone posted a photo of a brush guard that looked alot like mine, but I did not bookmark it, it was around $450.00.

I don't recommend them simply because if you get in an accident, they will more likely fold into your grill and crunch your front end whereas, it might have been a simple dent on your bumper... (I don't believe they're 5mph tested the way your bumpers are).

That said, if you still want one... you won't find any new ones any longer. A couple of companies used to make them including Manik who makes some really nice products.

If you can find a brush guard for an older 4runner or trooper, they will be the right width and you can just work with a local fabricator to get the mounts right.

I used to have a Manik but sold it to Vic Lee who runs it on his Monty. The Manik's went for about $350 new (uninstalled) and were IMHO a high end brush guard.

If you take your rig off road, then I definitely don't recommend them unless you have them not only welded to a hard core bumper, but reinforced in their design. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" />
