Getting the Wheeling Fever

My 1992 4x4 w/ 22re, 5spd, regular cab is all stock except rims and tires and is in need of a new catalytic converter. I would eventually like to do the complete exhaust with larger pipe and all that, but right now I'm just doin the cat. Should I go with a regular one or spend the extra money for a high flow? I'm looking for a direct-fit. This is a California vehicle. Any and all suggestions, recommendations, and/ or comments would be appreciated. I am kind of in a rush to do this though. Thanks in advance.
