The front air louvres are all broken out though. Are they an easy replacement from junkyard parts? You mean on the grille? I am in the process of converting my 89 to 86-style grill and headlights. I need to order Hella lenses and Weatherpack wiring, but once I'm done you can have my grille if you want it for free, just not sure how to get it to you. I'm in Tampa. I really appreciate the offer- my grill is fine though (I think), what are broken out are the internal air vents. I have some pictures to take today so I'll snap some shots of what I need to replace. You guys are great. Tellico? Hehehe. I learned to say "ayut" because of people from around there. Noticed that Bowater hasn't been smelling much for the past few years, good thing eh? Those are easy to replace if you can find some in the junkyard. They have a tab on each side , around the middle of it , you pop the tabs in and they pull right out

Looks like you may want that grill armybob offered too. Just kinda looks that way. I mean if it's free and all...

Shipping it can't be that much.

I've heard that you can ship via Greyhound but I've never done it. Once I get the roundeye grille on, it's yours. Assuming I ever get home from Hurricane Wilma duty...grumble...

Yer probly gonna need a handful of the plastic clips that mount the grille too (I think there are nine of them)... Jerry Lemond jlemond@bellsouth.net has them, and they should still also be available from body shop supply houses... unless you can figure a way to use those plastic snap-in inserts and screws they use for license plate mounting (check the "HELP" line at Pep Boys).

ArmyBob, I know this is a longshot, but do you still have the square headlight grill? If you are near Miami I could get it and would pay for it too.
I have "re-aquired" my trooper back from the person I sold it to who was posting here, because of the constant nagging and complaining, and now I will be restoring it somewhat.
...still finding little chunks of cornstalk wedged into the underbody.
