Compared to the cities that you mentioned, Salt Lake is small. But it's population is just under 200,000. It is predominately white with the bulk of the population ranging in age of 20 to 45 years. I have been there on business serveral times and have found it an enjoyable place. I think you will find it comfortable there. The one thing I don't care for is there prejudices towards black folks and non mormons. On the plus side, I understand that the wheelin' is great in that state. Have fun and be safe on your trip.
