4xgoose, As a recovering Florida native, born and raised on the same general latitude as Boca Raton but on the west coast, I can tell you the mall cruising down there is great! There's a mall every few blocks. Cruising the beach areas can be fun too, 'specially around spring break time. 35 or 40 years ago there were lots of places to go wheelin off road. Not any more! The only places that haven't been developed are cypress swamps and the everglades. Back in the day everything would be under water all summer long, in the dry season plenty of sugar sand on the way to the mud holes and flat flat flat! South Florida is a great place to retire if you can afford it and don't mind a lot of rude old yankees for neighbors. It's also a great place to be from! It's only redeeming factor is the beaches which, on the west coast anyway, you have a hard time getting near these days. It was nice wheeling the beaches many years ago. I recall the family riding down to the beach in the willys truck to watch the sunset as Dad shoveled shell in the truck to put in the driveway. Those were the days! I may not finish my time in Missisippi but I'll not be going back to Florida, 'specially for Jeep riding. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/cheers.gif" alt="" />
