Need a Spot
Yeah, apparently I was looking at the wrong thing, can anyone tell me where exactly the ecu is located on the genI Monteros. I thought I read that they were under the passanger side kick panel but I don't see it anywhere. It looks like it may behind the evaporater core (or whatever that thing is) as that is where the main engine wire harness comes in. And M&S recycling told me its under the right side of the dash board. But can anyone tell me exactly where the ecu is, and what needs to come out to get to it. I probally sound really stupid to the people who know these trucks well but I am just getting into them, but long time Mitsu owner.
Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks, Garrett.

The red arrow points to the diagnostic connector. The Cad plated box with the yellow conectors is the ECU. Pic is from my 90 2dr.
