i rebuilt the old weber 32/36 i had on my 20R, and put it on my hybrid a couple days ago.

now, i'm looking for creative ways of ridding the world of the menace i pulled off my engine. baseball bat, 30-06, crush with an excavator? and this is a 22R carb that i paid $300 to have rebuilt in january. should've been smart and gone with the weber from the get-go.

one thing i noticed, is how well it runs, even with the choke deleted(i removed all the linkage, shaft, butterflies etc). problem was that it had baseline jets, and i had to step up 2 sizes in idle jets to get it right. always ran way lean on my old engine, that's why i guess.

the 22R carb was nice when i first put it on, but it ran way too lean. worst part is that it's not easily adjustable, worse case with the weber is that i might have to spend 10 minutes pulling the top off and replacing the main or air jets <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" />
