If possible, I'd like to see your draglink angles from the side, in front, below/above. list how far forward your axle is from stock, problems you ran into, solutions you came up with, things you would change.

muchas gracias

not enough seperation between tie rod and drag link. hit the pitman arm during compression.

awesome, thanks rob. did you move your steering box at all? is that the stock pitman? how far forward are you?

I'm kinda trying to see how far forward I can move the axle while keeping the box in it's place w/out a crazy drag link angle.

Rob are you still using the Isuzu steering box with the D60?

steering box is in stock location. pitman arm is stock isuzu. 1st time I drilled out the taper and ran SRE's. Now I'm using the stock arm/taper and running the F250 TRE upside down.

axle placement was probably around ~5" forward first time around, and then an additional 4" or so for a total of 9" the second time.

yes, still a stock isuzu box turning 38's. I had Matt @ westtexasoffroad do the taping/porting for hydro assist.

I'm now thinking i'm going to move to a different steering box (more common Jeep, Chevy, etc) to get some more performance out of my hydro assist setup.

I'm looking at a possible 8" forward or so and just looking at the pitman to where the steering arm would be looks like it would be a crazy angle. I might just try not to move it that far. I'd have to redrill my main leaves and loot the leaf bin to make some hybrid spring packs, but I'm still looking 5-6" forward because of how I will be mounting them.

My main goal here is when I get the rest of my parts together, minimum downtime. I'd rather not have to mess with the box (moving it or swapping it) so I can focus on everything else. I want to get wheelin

if you look at that last picture of mine, you'll see my steering angles forward a good bit as a result of my axle placement. while not ideal, it certainly isn't a totally crazy angle (and remember, thats like 9" forward placement of the axle)

when I look at swapping steering boxes, I'm going to bring the new one forward a bit to get the links to more parallel
