I took my car in last year because the starter was not working. They replaced the selenoid.

I don't know if what I have now is related. Please let me know so I can take it back if that is the case.

I have trouble starting the car. Once it does start, about 5 seconds later, it shut down.

I have not replaced the spark plugs for a while. Could that be the problem?

Starter just tosses the flywheel to get it going.

Check for spark, then fuel.

This might help; not same year, but has 3.4 info in it.
